Why can't I place a lesson
Find out why the timetable refuses a lesson.
The builder refuses a lesson for a few clear reasons. The message tells you which one.
What to do
- Read the message. It names who or what clashes.
- Pick another teacher, room or period.
- Check the day is a school day in the bell schedule.
- Select Add lesson again.
Common reasons
- The teacher or a co-teacher is busy in another class at that time.
- The room is already used at that time.
- The period is a break.
- The day is not a school day in this class's bell schedule.
- The subject is not offered to this class.
Common questions
The teacher is greyed out.
They are busy then. The grey text shows where. Pick another teacher, or move the other lesson.
My subject is missing.
Tick the grade for it under Academics → Subjects, using Grades & periods per week.
