What is the clash rule
Learn how the timetable stops teachers and rooms from being double-booked.
The builder will not let one teacher or room be in two places at once.
What to do
- Open Academics → Class timetable and pick a class.
- Click an empty cell and choose a teacher.
- A busy teacher is greyed out, with where they are busy.
- Pick another teacher, or move the other lesson.
The rule
- A teacher cannot have two lessons that overlap on the same day, in any class.
- A room cannot be used by two lessons that overlap.
- Lessons next to each other are fine. One can end at 08:45 and the next can start at 08:45.
- Co-teachers count too. They are blocked elsewhere, like the lead teacher.
