Why can't I enrol a student in an activity

Find out why a student cannot join a club.

A few rules can stop an enrolment.

The Activities page in the Academics area, as a school admin sees it: run clubs and extracurricular activities, with seats, instructors and enrolled students.

What to do

Open Academics → Activities.
Check the activity is Active.
Check the seats. Raise Seats, or drop a student, if all are taken.
Check the student is not already on the roster, then enrol again.

The rules

All the seats are taken.
The student is already enrolled.
The activity is Inactive. It takes no enrolments.

Common questions

All seats are taken.

Edit the activity and raise Seats, or drop a student first.

I cannot delete an activity.

Students are still enrolled. Drop them first, or set the activity to Inactive.
