Grade & section names

Define the grade names and section names that classes are built from.

Grades are the levels of your school (Grade 1, Grade 2 and so on). Sections are the groups inside a grade (A, B, C). A class is one grade combined with one section, so both lists must exist before you create classes.

What you see on this page

  • Summary cards: Grades, Sections, Classes and Enrolled.
  • A Grades table: Grade, Type, Classes, Subjects, Students and Status.
  • A Sections table: Section, Description, Classes and Status.
  • Edit and Delete buttons on each row, for school admins.

Add a grade

  1. Press Add grade.
  2. Type the Name, for example Grade 10.
  3. Choose the Type: Primary, Middle, Secondary, Higher secondary, A level or O level.
  4. Press Add grade.

Add a section

  1. Press Add section.
  2. Type the Name (up to 24 characters), for example A.
  3. Optionally add a Description, for example Morning shift.
  4. Press Add section.
