Add an academic year

Add a school year with its start and end dates.

Use this before a new school year starts. Classes are created for a year, so add it first.

The Academic years & terms page in the Academics area, as a school admin sees it: set up the academic years and terms that organise your school calendar.

Steps

Open Academics → Academic years & terms.
Select Add year.
Type the Name, for example 2027-2028.
Choose the Structure: Term or Semester.
Enter the Start date and End date.
Select Add year.
The year appears in the Academic years table.
