Why can't I change or delete a period

Lessons placed in a period lock some changes.

A period that holds lessons is protected. This keeps timetables from breaking.

The Bell times page in the Academics area, as a school admin sees it: define when each period starts and ends, and which days the school runs.

What to do

Open Academics → Class timetable.
Pick a class that uses the schedule.
Clear the lessons in that period.
Go back to Academics → Bell times and try again.

What is refused

Deleting the period.
Turning it into a break.
Changing its number.
Removing a school day that has lessons on it.
Generate day, when any lessons are placed.
