A grading scheme is a named set of grade bands. Each band says which percentage range earns which grade, for example A from 80 to 100. A scheme can apply to every subject or to one subject only. Marks entered in the gradebook and report cards use these bands.

What you see on this page

  • One panel for each scheme, showing its name, its type (Percentage or Standard), the subject it applies to and Inactive when it is switched off.
  • A row of coloured bands, each with the grade name, its percentage range and an optional description.
  • For school admins: Add scheme at the top, and Add band, Edit and Delete in each scheme header, plus edit and delete on every band.

  3. Choose the Type (Percentage or Standard) and the Status (Active or Inactive).
