Instalment plans

Fees that are billed twice a year, yearly or once instead of every month.

A plan is a fee billed on its own schedule: Biannual, Annual or One time. Monthly fees are set up under Fee types & amounts instead. You create the bills for a plan from Fee bills.

The Instalment plans page in the Fees area, as a school admin sees it: fees that are billed twice a year, yearly or once instead of every month.

Columns

Plan: the name.
Head: the fee type it belongs to.
Grade: one grade or All grades.
Amount.
Frequency: Biannual, Annual or One time.

Add a plan

Select Add plan. Only people who manage fees see it.
Choose the Fee head and type a Name.
Choose the Grade, or All grades.
Choose the Frequency.
Enter the Amount, then select Add plan.

Bill a plan

Go to Fee bills and select Generate bills.
Choose the grade, then choose the plan in the Bill list.
Pick the month and due day, then generate.
