Use this page at the fee counter. It lists families who owe money, shows the oldest bill first, and takes a payment in a few clicks. The top of the page says how many families owe and how much in total.

Take a payment

  1. Under "Who is paying?", type a name, roll number or bill number. Families with the most overdue bills are shown first before you type. Press Enter to pick the top result.
  2. Under "Which bill?", choose the bill being paid. The oldest is already selected.
  3. Under "How much?", check the Amount received. It is filled with the full balance. Change it only for a part payment.
  4. Choose how they paid: Cash, Bank transfer, Card, Cheque or Online.
  5. Open "More options" if you need to add a reference number (for example a cheque number) or a Received on date.
  6. Select Collect payment.

After saving you see how much was received. Select Print receipt to open a printable receipt. If the family has another bill, use the button to collect their next bill. Use Collect from someone else to start again.

Things on this page

  • Search box: matches name, roll number, class or bill number.
  • Change student: goes back to the search.
  • Overdue count: shown beside a student's class and roll number.
  • Reference: optional, but it stops the same payment being recorded twice on a bill.
  • Received on: leave empty for today. Choose an earlier day only to record money you already received. It cannot be a future date.

Common questions

A family says they paid but I cannot find them.

The search only lists families with unpaid bills. If the bill is not created yet, make it under Fee bills first.

I entered the wrong amount.

Open the bill under Fee bills and use Reverse next to the payment, then record it again.

Can a family pay several bills at once?

Record one payment per bill. After each one you can go straight to their next bill.
