Fee types & amounts

Choose what each grade is billed: fee types, amounts and how often.

Everything you bill comes from here. A fee head is one charge, such as tuition, for a grade or for all grades, at an amount and a frequency. Do this before you create bills.

The Fee types & amounts page in the Fees area, as a school admin sees it: choose what each grade is billed: fee types, amounts and how often.

Columns

Head: the type of fee.
Name: what families see on the bill.
Grade: one grade or All grades.
Amount.
Frequency: Monthly, Biannual, Annual or One time.

Fee heads you can choose

Tuition, Syllabus, Biannual, Security deposit, Extracurricular, Calendar, Transport, Admission and Other.
Transport is billed only to students on a transport route.
Extracurricular is billed only to students in an activity.
Every other head goes to all students in the grade.

Add a fee head

Select Add fee head. Only people who manage fees see it.
Choose the Fee head and type a Name, for example Tuition fee.
Choose the Grade, or All grades.
Choose the Frequency.
Enter the Amount, then select Add fee head.
