Fix a problem with an import file

Understand why rows are skipped and how to fix them.

The preview tells you the reason for every skipped row.

The Import from a file page in the Setup area, as a school admin sees it: add many students or teachers at once from a spreadsheet saved as CSV.

Steps

Choose your file again on Setup → Import from a file.
Read the table of skipped lines and their reasons.
Open your file and fix those rows.
Check that the file is saved as .csv.
Select Choose a different file and pick the fixed file.
Select Import when the rows are ready.
