Seating plan

Lay a class out across an exam hall grid.

The seating plan shows a class's active students in roll order across rows of seats, with the front of the hall at the top. Use it to print or share where candidates sit. It is a view only; seats are not stored.

The options at the top

  • Class: which class to seat.
  • Exam: the exam shown in the page subtitle, or None.
  • Room: the room shown in the page subtitle, or Any.
  • Seats per row: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 10.
  • Show: applies your choices.

See a seating plan

  1. Open LMS → Seating plan.
  2. Choose the Class, Exam, Room and Seats per row.
  3. Select Show.
  4. Read the grid. Each seat shows the student's photo and roll number. The last row is padded with empty seats.
