Online classes

Schedule live sessions for a class and share the meeting link.

An online class is a scheduled live session with a meeting link, such as a doubt session or revision class. Add the session here and students see the time and a Join link in their class and on their own Online classes page. The school's meeting tool is outside Insply: you paste in the link.

What you see on this page

  • Summary cards: Sessions, Upcoming and Link ready.
  • The table: Session, Class, Subject, Teacher, When (with an Upcoming tag) and Link (Ready or empty).
  • Row buttons: Open (the meeting link), Edit and Delete.
  • A pager once there are more than 25 sessions.

Schedule a session

  1. Press Schedule online class.
  2. Type the Session title (up to 140 characters).
  3. Choose the Class (required for teachers), a Subject and a Teacher.
  4. Set When, the date and time.
  5. Paste the Meeting URL.
  6. Press Schedule online class.

Change a session

  1. Press the edit button on the row.
  2. Change the title, class, subject, teacher, time or link.
  3. Save your changes.
