Why can't I edit the questions

Questions lock when the first student hands in.

Once any student hands in, you cannot add, change or remove questions. Earlier answers would no longer match.

What to do

  1. Open the assignment.
  2. Go to the Submissions step.
  3. If a student has handed in, the questions are locked.
  4. Make a new assignment if you must change the questions.

What this means

  • The Edit and Remove buttons are hidden.
  • The assignment cannot be switched to On paper.
  • You can still mark the work and write feedback.
