Share audio and video
Upload a recording or a lesson video so the class can play it in place.
You can share audio (a recitation, a listening exercise, a voice note) and video (a recorded lesson, a demonstration) the same way you share a picture. Students and parents play it on the page, on a phone or a computer, with no download.
Add audio or video
- Open the class, then Updates (for a post) or Materials (for a resource).
- Press New post or Add material.
- Press Upload, or drag the file onto the box, and choose your file.
- Wait for the progress to reach 100%. A short check runs first, and a WAV recording is compressed to MP3 so it uploads faster.
- For audio, press play on the preview to hear it before you post.
- Press Post or Add material.
What you can upload
- Audio: MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG, WAV or WebM audio.
- Video: MP4, WebM or MOV.
- Up to 500 MB each. Use MP4 (H.264) for video that plays on every phone.
- A post holds one audio file on its own, or up to 25 pictures and videos together.
