Why can't I mark attendance for a day
Find out why the register buttons are switched off.
Steps
- Open Teaching → Mark attendance.
- Pick the Class and the Date.
- Read the message above the list.
- Match it with the reasons below.
The page shows the reason in a message above the list.
Common reasons
- The date is in the future.
- The day is not a working day for your school.
- The day is a school holiday.
- You do not teach that class.
- Your role can only read attendance, not mark it.
Common questions
Our school works on Saturdays, but I cannot mark one.
A school admin sets the working days. Ask them to change the working days.
