Link a student to a parent
Join a new student to a family that is already in the school.
Use this so brothers and sisters share one family record. You do this inside the Add student form.
Steps
- Open Users → Students and select Add student.
- Fill in the student's First name, Last name and Email.
- Go to Parent or guardian.
- Choose Father or Mother, then type that parent's national ID.
- Look for the words Existing family found.
- Select Add student.
- The student joins that family and you see their brothers and sisters.
Common questions
It did not find the family.
Check the national ID for a typo. Also check that the family record has the same ID on it.
