Merit & conduct

Record merit and demerit points for student behaviour.

A merit adds points for good conduct. A demerit takes points away. Each student's balance appears on their profile.

What you see on this page

  • Three numbers: Merit points, Demerit points and Net balance.
  • The table: Student, Roll No, Type, Points, Reason, Date and an actions column.
  • Add record, for people who manage students.
  • Page controls for a long log.

Add a record

  1. Select Add record.
  2. Pick the Student.
  3. Choose Type: Merit or Demerit.
  4. Enter Points, a whole number from 1 to 1000. The default is 5.
  5. Add a Reason, such as Helped a classmate.
  6. Select Add record.

Edit or delete

  1. Select the pencil icon to change the Type, Points or Reason, then Save changes.
  2. Select the bin icon to delete a record. Only people who may delete records see it.
