Change a student's class

Move one or many students to a different section, grade or campus.

Use this when students change section, move up a grade, or go to another campus. It works on this year's placement. Only people who manage students can open it.

What you see on this page

Moving from: the class the students are in now, with a count of how many are in it.
A search box (Find by name or roll number) and a Tick all or Untick all button.
A list of students with a tick box, photo, name and roll number.
Move to: the class they are going to, with how many seats are used and free.
A move button that shows how many students are ticked.

Move students

In Moving from, pick the class they are in now.
Tick the students. Use Tick all to select everyone shown.
In Move to, pick the new class.
Check the seats line. If too many students are ticked, a warning appears and the button is off.
Select the Move button.
A green message confirms how many students moved.
