Why is a student on Needs attention
See the four reasons a student is flagged.
A student is flagged when the app sees a sign they may need help. The reason shows next to the name.
The reasons
- Behind target: their pace over 14 days is under half of their daily target.
- Many repeats: more than 40% of recent lessons were sent back to Repeat.
- Frequent absences: 3 or more absent days in the last 14 days.
- Revision overdue: no recent or older revision passed for more than 7 days, or never.
Common questions
A new student is not flagged as behind.
Behind target is only checked when the student has a daily target and some recent lessons.
