About Hifz
What the Hifz module is for, who uses it and the usual order of work.
Hifz is for schools that run a Quran memorisation programme. A halaqa is one ustaad's group of students. Each day the ustaad records what every student learned (Sabaq), revised recently (Sabqi) and revised from older portions (Manzil). Insply turns those entries into progress, pace and early warnings.
Who uses it
- School admins set up halaqat, enrol students and choose the module settings. They see every halaqa.
- Ustaads (teachers) record the daily lesson for their own halaqa and see progress for their own students only.
- Parents and students see their own progress in their own portal. Parents see Hifz progress and students see My Hifz.
The usual order of work
- An admin adds a halaqa under Halaqat and picks its ustaad.
- An admin enrols students under Enrolments, with a daily target and what each student already knows.
- Each day the ustaad opens Today's halaqa and records attendance and lessons.
- Coordinators check Overview and Students to see who is behind.
- Admins download Reports when they need a list.
