Move students to another class

Move one or many students to a different section or grade.

Use this when students change section or move up a grade.

The Change a student's class page in the Misc area, as a school admin sees it: move one or many students to a different section, grade or campus.

Steps

Open Misc → Change a student's class.
Under Moving from, pick the class they are in now.
Tick the students. Select Tick all to pick everyone shown.
Under Move to, pick the new class.
Look at the seats line.
Select the Move button.
A green message says how many students moved.

Common questions

The Move button is off.

Too many students are ticked for the free seats. Tick fewer, or raise the class capacity in Classes.
