Welcome to Insply
A short tour of the screen and where to find the common things.
Insply is where your school runs day to day: admissions, people, classes, attendance, results, fees, notices and more. What you see depends on your role, so a teacher, a parent and a school admin each get a menu built for their job.
Finding your way around
- Top bar, left: the Insply logo and a grid button. Press it to switch between modules.
- Top bar, middle: Search anything. Press it, or press Ctrl+K, to jump to any page.
- Top bar, right: the time at your school, the notification bell, and your name. Your name opens a menu with My profile, Light mode or Dark mode, and Sign out.
- Left side: the modules you can open, and for the module you are in, its pages.
- Bottom right: the assistant button, which answers questions and takes you to the right page.
- On a phone, the main pages for your role sit in a bar at the bottom, with More for the full menu.
Good first steps
- Open My profile and add your photo and phone number.
- Press Ctrl+K and type what you want to do, for example fees or attendance.
- Open the bell to see anything waiting for you.
- Use the Help centre to read about a page, in the module it belongs to.
