Notify parents about absences

Tell parents when their child has an unmarked absence.

Parents are told when their child is marked absent without leave.

The Attendance rules page in the Attendance area, as a school admin sees it: set the working days, the low and good attendance cut-offs and the alerts.

Steps

Open Attendance → Attendance rules.
Under Alerts and notifications, switch on Notify parents.
Select Save settings.

To stop the messages, switch it off and save again.
