Circulars
Write official notices to parents, students and staff, and see who has acknowledged them.
Open in InsplyA circular is an official notice with a letterhead, such as a change of school hours or a trip permission. You can ask people to confirm they have read it. Circulars have a draft to published workflow, so nothing reaches families until it is published.
School admins see the full table below. Teachers, parents and students see a simpler page called Notices, with a card per circular, a Read button and, where the school asked for it, an I have read this button.
What you see on this page (school admins)
- Status pills (All, Draft, Pending, Published, and so on) with counts.
- An Add circular button on the right.
- Title: the circular name, with a small picture if it has one.
- Type: Circular or Template, and PDF where a file is attached.
- Status: Draft, Pending, Scheduled, Published or Rejected.
- Acknowledged: how many people confirmed, for circulars that require it.
- When: the date.
- Row icons: View (a letter preview), Publish, Edit and Delete.

Common questions
How do I know who has not read a circular?
The table shows how many people acknowledged. For the full list, use Reports and download the Circulars report, which includes acknowledgements received.
What is a template for?
A template is a circular you keep for reuse, such as a standard trip permission note. It is kept in the list but never counted as a notice to families.
