Why can't I lower the copies

Understand the minimum number of copies for a book.

The Copies field shows a minimum, for example (min 2, on loan). You cannot go below the copies that are out.

The Books page in the Library area, as a school admin sees it: the catalogue of titles with copies, availability and the tools to add, edit and delete books.

What to do

Open Library → Lend & return.
Return the copies that are out.
Open Library → Books and edit the book again.
Type the lower number and select Save changes.
