Homework lists everything your teachers have set for your class. Some homework is handed in online here and some is done on paper. Your parent can see and hand in the same work from their login.

What you see on the list

  • The heading says how many items you still have to hand in.
  • To hand in: each item with its title, subject, when it is due (for example due tomorrow, or overdue), Optional if it is optional, and hand in online or on paper.
  • Done: items you have handed in, with your marks once marked.
  • Pages: both lists split into pages if there are many items.

Statuses

  • To do: not handed in yet and not past its due date.
  • Overdue: not handed in and the due date has passed.
  • Handed in: you submitted it and your teacher has not marked it yet.
  • Marked: your teacher has given marks.
  • No due date: the teacher set no deadline.

Answer questions online

  1. Select the homework on the list.
  2. Read the Details (subject, teacher, topic, due date, Max marks, whether it counts toward your grade) and the Instructions.
  3. Answer each question. The counter and bar at the top show how many you have done.
  4. Select Submit answers. If some questions are blank you are asked to confirm. Choose Go back to finish them, or Submit anyway.
  5. You see a message. If everything was marked automatically, you also see your score. If a teacher must read some answers, you see that they will mark the written parts.

Hand in a photo, file or link

  1. Open a homework that has no questions and is handed in online.
  2. Select Take a photo or choose a file and pick your photo, a picture, a PDF, or a recording or video. It uploads as soon as you pick it. Or open Or paste a link instead and enter a link to your work.
  3. Select Hand in. You see Handed in. Well done!

Question types

  • Many answers: tick every option that applies.

  • Short answer: type a short answer, up to 300 characters.
  • Essay: write a longer answer, up to 5000 characters. A counter shows how many you have used.

After you hand in

  • View submitted work: opens the file you handed in.
  • Teacher feedback: any comment your teacher wrote.
  • Done on paper: for paper homework, follow the instructions and give the work to your teacher in class.

Common questions

I cannot upload a file.

File upload may not be set up for your school yet. Use Or paste a link instead, or Add link, and paste a share link to your work.

The page says the item is not part of my class.

Homework is only shown for your own class. If it should be yours, ask your teacher or the school office.

Why can't I see a Submit button?

The homework may be done on paper, or already marked. Your account may also not be allowed to hand in work; ask the school office.
