What does the attendance rate mean
Understand the percentage on your child's Attendance page.
Steps
- Open My child → Attendance.
- Pick your child if you have more than one.
- Find Rate at the top of the page.
- Match the number with the list below.
The rate is the share of marked school days your child attended.
What the number says
- 90% or more: great attendance.
- 75% to 89%: attendance is slipping. More absences will start to affect learning.
- Below 75%: attendance is low. Please speak to the class teacher about catching up.
