About Transport
What the Transport module is for, who uses it and the usual order of work.
Transport keeps track of the school's bus routes: which vehicle and driver run each route, where it stops and which students ride it. It is used by school admins and anyone your school has given transport access to.
The usual order of work
- Add a route under Routes with its vehicle and driver.
- Add the stops on that route, in the order the bus visits them.
- Assign each student who rides to the route, and to their stop.
- Use Live bus status to see the whole fleet at a glance.
- Download Reports when you need a list.
The pages
- Routes: create routes, then manage each route's stops and students.
- Live bus status: a board of every route with its status, vehicle, driver and counts. It is a preview for now.
- Charts: students per route and how many routes are in service.
- Reports: an Excel or PDF download of every route.
